How long have you been in business?
We have a combined 38 years of Home Care experience with Hands Thru Us Home Care, Inc being founded in Oct, 2015.
What is your primary product or service?
Non Medical Home Care which includes in-home companionship, meal preparation, grooming and dressing supervision, light housekeeping, laundry, errands including grocery shopping, transportation services, 24 hour shift and overnight care available, pet care, and activity supervision. We offer nurses on call 24/7.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We are both RNs with 38 years combined Home Care experience. Due to personal experiences with our own families, we saw the need and benefits of Non Medical Home Care. Due to wanting to make a difference in our community, we co-founded Hands Thru Us Home Care.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
With our 2 owners both being RNs and having 38 years combined Home Care experience ( including experience with direct oversight of up to 1,000 patients at a time), we have the knowledge to develop a Care Plan with each client to meet their home care needs. We employee all of our caregivers with direct training completed by us with emphasis on Alzheimer's and Dementia training. Our services include daily telephony options. We are bonded and insured with all caregivers having background checks, drug screenings, and DMV checks. Our owners are each available 24/7.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently one location to serve the upstate
