Ballroom Dance Instruction
American Dance Club is committed to providing excellent service to our students and the community. Our courteous and talented staff provide an environment that is perfect for the learning experience. Friday night parties are open to the public. We have several membership programs that include parties and group lessons. These memberships in the club give our students a place to dance and practice on a weekly basis. We offer Private Instruction and Group Classes in Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Argentine Tango, Country Western, Salsa and Shag (The South Carolina State Dance). We also have a Friday Night Dance Party every week from 8:00-10:00pm.The cost for this dance is $10 per person for the general public. Our Venue is also available to rent for events, and our staff is available for hire for parties, wedding receptions, corporate events, etc. So contact us today and let us introduce you to the World of Dance!

How long have you been in business?
Founded in 1976, the American Dance Club is the longest established Ballroom Dance Studio in Greenville. We have been providing our services to the people of the Upstate for over 34 years. We are members of the USSDC and our current staff has over 25 years of combined experience including performances on Broadway.
What is your primary product or service?
We offer Private Instruction and Group Classes in Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Argentine Tango, Country Western, Salsa and Shag (The South Carolina State Dance). We also have a Friday Night Dance Party every week from 8:00-10:00pm. The cost for this dance is $10 per person. How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started dancing at a young age and when I finished my tour of duty with the Navy I moved here to the Upstate and answered an add for dance instructors. I am now the owner of the same studio I first started teaching at over 20 years ago.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We specialize in social dancing. We understand that not everyone wants to be a competition dancer so we cater to these people. We do competition dancing as well and our students that do competitions excel but our main goal is to get everyone dancing.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We only have the one studio but if the day comes and we do decide to branch out then we will embrace it.
